Allright, I'm getting really pissed. Are there any spynx breeders in the
midwest area? I run a hospice and these little guys would be the PURRFECT
companions for those heading into the next life.

It'd probably be easier to find them if you were spelling the
breed name correctly. :) They're sphynx cats. As for finding a
breeder, please follow the link in my sig and thoroughly read the
guide to finding a responsible breeder.
Some things to think about before getting a Sphynx (especially
in a hospice situation):
Sphynx are *extremely* temperature sensitive. They are
strictly indoors animals, and even then coats etc are a good idea.
Sphynx are extremely susceptible to sunburn. Their skin is
like baby skin and needs to be treated accordingly. Sunscreen is a
must if the cat is going to go outside at all (on leash, whatever).
Most people are allergic to cat dander, not cat hair. Sphynx
have very little hair (a fine, almost invisible down), but they do
still have dander. They are *not* 'hypoallergenic'.
You should never declaw a Sphynx. Hell, you should never
declaw any cat.
