There's a picture on alt.pictures.binaries.animals
under "problem with my cat's chin". If you can
look and help please do.
Thanks : -)

My Juliet used to have acne too, and still does occasionally. The vet put
her on a course of antibiotics and told me to bathe her chin area twice a
day with warm salty water. Apparently the salt acts as a disinfectant.
Juliet still gets acne from time to time, and when she does I bathe the area
twice a day in warm salty water.

For helpful links, visit this page:

One of my guys got it and washing his chin a couple of times a day with
an anti-bacterial soap cleared it right up.

What kind of food and water bowls do you use?  Plastic bowls cause chin acne
on some cats.  If you are using plastic, try changing to ceramic bowls and
wash them frequently.  That might help.

Our Ginger can developed acne after we introducted Science Diet's 'Natures
Best' dry food.  She had it for weeks before we finally discovered the
cause. We did the bathing the chin twice a day thing, no plastic bowls,
washing the ceramic bowls as often as we could.

Stop feeding both cats the 'Natures Best' dry food and within a week, the
acne was clearing up and the cat is completly clear of it now for over 6
weeks.

The food was the last thing we suspected seeing that the first bag of
'Natures Best' caused no problems. Maybe there was something different about
the newer bag.

Suffice to say, no more 'Natures Best' for either of our cats
