our kitty is about 9 month old-she is still being fed Purina kitty food-when

You can gradually start to switch now.  From what I know, you can feed
kitten food for up to a year.  At 9 months he's still got a growth spurt or
two left.

I got Tiger when he was 4 months old.  I fed him adult food right from
the start.  He is now almost six years old and weighs 23 pounds (Maine
coon?)
