Cat Vomits

I am concerned about one of my kitties. She vomits sometimes right
after eating. I don't think it's hairballs, either. Anybody got some
ideas? I am going to take her to the vet just in case.

A vet visit is good. What are you feeding her? One of my cats throws up every
time he gets into dry food. We have no problem with wet food. Good luck. Keep
us posted.

Do you by chance play with her after she eats? If so, cats sometimes vomit if
they play in a full stomach. If not, yes, a trip to the vet is warranted.

A lot of cats have grain intolerances. Wheat, corn, and soy just don't
digest that easily in them...hence the vomiting. I had this same problem
with a couple of my cats, and switched them over Chicken Soup For The Cat
Lover's Soul. It has oats and rice as it's "grains". Much easier to digest.
I SELDOM will have one of my 12 cats vomit now, while on this food.

Over-eating is a common cause of cat vomiting also. I know, people say that
cats don't over eat, but they DO...my bf's mom owns a cat that over eats.

vomiting is also a sign of heart problems...please check that
out...does your cat have a heart murmur or ever been diagnosed as
such?

sometimes my cats just eat to much and they throw it up. dunno if that
helps.

I've had a few cats that do this and mine have always been a case of eating
too fast. I found some smooth large pebbles, far too big for a cat to
swallow and put a few in the dish. This has cut down on the frequency of my
cat vomiting.
