My cat won't eat anything but Meow Mix. She always want to know what I'm
eating and I let her sniff it and give her a little piece but she won't
eat it. She always goes back to her Meow Mix. I worry about Meow Mix
going out of business and wonder if she would just starve to death. I
have told her several times if she would just tell what she would eat, I
would buy it, jumbo shrimp or anything.
P.S. I have at least five great cats waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge.

Try mixing the Meow Mix with other foods. Meow Mix isn't likely to become
unavailable, but if you could get her accustomed to a better quality of food
with out all that dye in it, it would be better for her.

My furbabies eat Science diet dry for kitten and they are getting to be about a year old
and I am in process of switching to Sciene Diet adult.

What I did was started out mixing 1 part adult to 3 parts kitten (1/4 adult) and slowly
worked up to being half of each right now.  If you do it slowly and increase the amount
over time they will get used to the new .  If you just switch them all at once you may
have trouble getting them to eat it.  I know I did.

Meow Mix is of extremely low quality. Look at the ingredients. Would you
want a steady diet of that? You really need to start mixing in higher
quality dry food in it, to get her to eat something else. This is my dry
food of choice;

My neighbors cat same thing Meow Mix for the last 9 yrs. I started feeding
her Nutro Natural Balance (Dry), at Pet Stores. She loved it & has ever
since, haven't yet had a cat turn it down. An all natural all purpose food,
costs more than the grocery store brands --- but your cat will be much
healthier and likely prefer the all-natural brands. Read labels you'll see
the difference, eating junk food daily vs. health food.
