Your best solution is probably to trap the cat. Try your local humane society
or municipal pound to borrow/rent a humane live trap, and take the cat to the
vet. (you can take it in without removing it from the trap). Good luck. Please

Do you set food out for him? Please do. Possibly he was in a fight and lost
a patch of fur. How about borrowing a trap and having him neutered? While
he is under, the vet can take a look at the wound. Carol
