Temp 94... God it's hot today.

The cats were following me around outside while I sprayed
weeds and I thought they were going to have heat stroke.

I thought I was too.

Every time we got near some shade the cats would dive for cover.

I'm going to swim in the stock tank in a little while.

The cat "Suzi" likes to get up next to the tank when I swim
and stand up some times and meow and ask me
"What the Hell Do You think Your Doing?".

The long haired black cat seems to be having the worst time.
She's asleep in the house now with the air conditioner blowing
on her.

My cats don't seem to like air conditioning.  On those nights when it
cools off enough (low 70's by bed time) to open a window and door and
let the mud room exhaust fan pull outside air through, I sleep with a
bed full of cats - when it too hot (most of the time) and I leave the
AC on, I usually sleep alone.  When I come home from work, there
usually aren't any cats inside, but they are scattered in patches of
shade all over, with several under the front patio awning.  Fluffy has
been known to make use of the shade thrown by the charcoal grill.
