I enjoyed reading your stories about the recues. In October I rescued a
mother and 3 kittens, the first time I have ever done this. I did keep one
of the kittens.

Yea, the kittens do have a way of growing on you, kind of like a case of
athletes foot <g>. Congrats on the successful rescue (feels great,
doesn't it?) and thanks for the comment on the site.

Cool story, and sounds like the kitten is coming along nicely. Also
sounds like you work with a shelter that is more cooperative and
pro-active than what we have here. They don't even return telephone
calls. I guess they're just overwhelmed.

I did have to call a lot of shelters before one returned my call and said
they would help. Right now Sam is sitting on a chair next to me as I'm
typing. The next big step is to introduce him to the rest of the house and
my other 2 cats. They have seen him and have hissed every time. He just wants
to be friends.
