I am not sure which news reader you use, of cours, but most of them require
that you manually download the latest headers to see the new postings
(including your own). This may be done in two ways: Either you switch from
the currently read newsgroup to another one, and the switch back to the
first one, or, if you are using Outlook Express, hit the Headers button on
the tool bar. In other news readers this function may have another name like
Refresh or whatever.

Anyway, then your newly posted message will show up in the list.
