Wondering if there's an exceptionally high flea population in
the eastern U.S. at this time. Our cat brings in a dozen or so
every time he goes outside. My wife, who's in charge of the
cat, has abandoned chemical remedies and simply combs them out.
Where do fleas lurk, anyway, before they find an animal host?
In November?

The fall is prime time for fleas and ticks. They go on the animal to escape
the cold weather. Have you tried Frontline?? I use it for my cats.
