hi
I have had a litter maid since december of last year and have been using the
pet smart store brand advanced stuff, but it has recently went up in price.
It used to be 13 for a 40 lb box and now the boxes are 30 lbs and have a new
odour thing in them and they are 16.  Which is kind of pricy since your
getting less litter.  So I was wondering what other brands are good for the
littermaid.  I'm in canada so we don't have some of the same brands as the
US but most are the same.  Thanks

You will want a brand that forms firm clumps.

Purina MaxxCat works well.

I'm with Joe on this. I don't use a littermaid, but I swear by the Purina
MaxxCat, tried lots of others, and it's the only one that's really decent.

If you have a membership to Costco, or know someone who does, you might try
the litter they carry.  It's excellent, and is only $6.50 for a 40 lb (or
50?) box.  The last time I bought litter, they had a coupon so I got two
boxes for about $4.50 each.  I don't have a littermaid so I don't know how
it would work in one, but it does clump very well.
