We have an orange tabby, Fred, who has been having an ongoing problem spraying
at various places throughout the house.  We've tried almost everything -- taken
him to the vet to have him checked for urinary problems, made sure the number
of litterboxes corresponds to the number of cats, put him on psych meds... he
still does it.  Occasionally he'll urinate on clothes that are on the floor.

I've seen Feliway mentioned before.  I know it comes in two forms, the spray
and room plug-in.  Has anyone has success with either or both, because we're
interested in trying it but are not sure which form would be better.  Both are
pretty expensive so we'd like some feedback before we purchase.  TIA.

Feliway works best when you start using it in a "clean" environment, meaning
you have to get rid of all traces of urine smell in your house.  To be
honest, I did not have much success with Feliway even when I used it in a
clean environment.  I used the difuser type (plug-in) and had 3 of them in
different parts of my house.  Never the less, my cat still sprayed in a
couple of different areas.  I know others who have had good success with
Feliway so maybe it depends on the cat.  Mine is extremely territorial.
