My cat has not been eating for two days and drank a lot of water
today. The cat seems weak and has his eyes half open.
Should I wait to see if he will recover or take him to a vet as soon
as possible?

Regards Brian

Would probably be best to take him the vet to have a check up.

Vet. Right now. Today. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

Hi Brian ,

Your cat  sounds very sick so please take him to a vet asap. He could
have a blockage or something equally serious and he won't get better
on his own.

You could call your vet to ask for advice about this.  If you are looking to
this group for verification I absolutely agree with a vet that says to bring
the cat right in. This is urgent.

I can only please one person a day.
  Today is not your day.
  Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

To the vet, asap.
