I recently babysat for some friends for a week and their house was
infested with fleas. I found several fleas on myself while I was
there, I had several flea bites and their cats were terribly infested
with them. Everyday I would go home for a couple hours and when I
finally came home at the end of the week, my cats had fleas. My cats
stay indoors and they did have fleas a few months ago but I haven't
seen any in months (I use Frontline and I comb the cats everyday with
a flea comb) until I came back from my friends house. How likely is it
that I brought fleas home from my friend's house?

Probably pretty possible. Give them a gift of some Frontline.

Pretty likely. Cat fleas prefer cats to humans, but they are willing enough to
hitch a ride.
