my two cats have a facination with playing with their turds
I've caught them pulling them out of their litter box. I've tried cleaning
the box more often and it doesn't matter if there's just one in there
they'll play with it. What should I do? I don't want to discipline them to
harshly because they may think that they're doing something wrong by using
the litter box and start going elsewhere... Any suggestions? Does anyone
else have this weird problem?

Get one of those automated litter boxes. I know that they aren't cheap, but
it has to beat watching your cats play with their sh.t!

Give them something else small and hard but socially-acceptable to bat
around?  A ball of crumpled tin foil?

Haha... well that is a unique problem. At least be happy that they don't
eat the turds... like some dogs do with certain nutrition deficiencies.

Do they have other toys that are more interesting for them to play with?
Perhaps you need to make or purchase something that is similar to the
turds they now seem to enjoy... how about small rubber balls or marbles?

My brother always said that his dog liked to eat the cat turds,
especially when fresh. You know, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the
inside.

!!!

My Moonshines loved to play turd hockey in our kitchen.  This meant she had
to carry the turds up the stairs from the basement.  Every once in a while I
would say, "This kitchen stinks."  Then I would pull out the refrigerator
and find all her collection!  Eventually we moved and she got over that
habit.  (There were always plenty of cat toys around.)

I can only please one person a day.
Today is not your day.
Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

common around Halloween
