Update as of 7/8/03: homeless man and kittens

I think the guy is a con artist. All last week, the guy didn't have
the kittens with him at all. On Monday morning and this morning, he
had them back again. This guy is working a scam. How do you have
kittens one week, and then not another when you're homeless? You
can't *store* them anywhere! My heart is no longer aching for this
guy and his friends. Shame on him for stirring up compassion in my
heart!!!!

Most homeless people have stash areas. That aside, he could be
working a scam. Giving the kittens cat food doesn't seem to hurt,
though. Worst case scenario, *he* is eating it, which would tell me
he's pretty bad off. Best case scenario, he's not eating it and he is
giving it to the kittens.
