My cat has today been diagnosed with this disease and I am desperately
trying to gather as much information as possible . I have discovered
the Feline CRF Information Center which has an exceptional content but
is predominantly USA orientated as far as food and medications are
concerned.
If there are any cat people in the UK who can provide their
experience/advice in coping with a CRF cat then I will be very
grateful.
For your information Sheba is 14 years old and is in good health apart
from appetite loss and a diminishing weight. Any of the other standard
symptoms seem to be absent at this time. The vet has advised that the
blood tests indicate a 75% loss of kidney function and has prescribed
Fortekor and Hills K/D.
Many thanks for reading this,
Charles.
