We (hubby and I) have noticed on occaision, that there is poo outside the
box, and this afternoon,
I saw the cat with the issue. His butt was right on the edge of the box
where everything that came out of him went
on the lip of the box, and on the floor.
He has vision issues, he is not totally blind, but has trouble seeing some
stuff.
My question is, how to get him to turn around in the box, so but is on the
inside.
We of course, clean the boxes every day, even twice. I'm thinking he
notices what's in the box and doesn't want to step on it,
so butt is on the edge.
I'm going to get some plastic to lay down so it won't be such a problem, but
OMG!
I've also called the place we adopted him from to ask for advice.
And are there any suggestions for really good cat cleaning products. I get
all the ones that are pet related, but
don't know if any suggestions might lead me to something different. TA!!!!!
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Karen

Hi, why don't you keep the top off the liter box and maybe he'll step
inside all the way instead. Just a thought. Or put a window on both
sides so he can get right in it. He might feel scared to get all the
way in and turn around in the stinky tight darkness.

Try a very large litter box so it is less likely.
