Self-styled "animal welfare advocate" Jim Willis ignored animal abuse in the
home where he resided (on a front porch!) for six weeks.  Animal control
officers investigated more than 70 animals that were living in deplorable
conditions.  One of the articles below indicated that he "justified" the
abuse basically by saying that the people involved were busy (they had a
child and both worked).  Willis said that "The people involved here had no
bad intentions whatsoever."

Some of the animals were locked in cages for so long that they had urine
burns and had difficulty walking:

Willis is the author of "How Could You," an article that has been posted to
the newsgroup for years.

What hypocrisy!
