Thanks for posting this.  I feed Nutro Natural to my cats, and that
stuff isn't cheap! :)

I used to feed Nutro, but the cats cooled off on it a few years ago.
This will give me a chance to see if they'll eat it again. Boots is my
dry-food preference kitty. We'll buy anything, if she'll eat it.

They changed the formula of the MaxCat adult maintenence chow, and now
it is "roasted chicken" - they say it is the same food but it looks
different and my cats won't eat it (I never checked analysis).  My cats
now like the natural Choice Complete Care Adult
(http://www.nutroproducts.com/nccatadult.asp) which I think is the old
formulation of the MaxCat adult (the old red and black striped bag).
The kibble is a different shape, but it loooks and smells the same, and
my cats eat it as if it were the same.  Of course, it's more expensive
now, though.

I suspect they went to cheaper ingredients in their standard line.
P'ed me off to no end.
