I'll admit...I wanna know who *all* the outers are and it's driving me
crazy that some people seem to *know."  Of course, they could be
guessing like I am and just pretending to know but I'm not convinced of
that...

Who the hell are y'all?  Let's fess up and then have a big group hug
and all be friends forever.

Love to all of you,

Candace

If there was a meeting at a bar and I wasn't invited, I'm gonna be pissed!

:)

Hi Sherry,

I have not been to the bar yet -- but am ready!

Maybe we could meet somewhere mid-country, Omaha?

Rhonda

It's possible that the person who accessed my webpage passed the info on to
someone else, and then that person is the Remailer Poster.  But, I do know
that this person is involved.  She should have used something like
Anonymizer.com access the website.
I wouldn't have known for certain except for the server logs, and the fact
that John Doe quotes headers, allowing me to find the IP in a post.

Sometimes it only takes small clues to find the gold mine. And a
little stupidity on another's part. ;) Very smart to host your own
web site with full access to the logs.

You can have access to logs even when you don't host your own website, the
hosting company will send them to you.  btw Kelly, the outers are not in
your area.

That's not what I meant.  I know what region this person is in, it's not
where I am.

people always seem to *know* everything and hint at revealing off group
emails and yadadadadadada when probably nobody really knows anything but the
more they are able to convince others they do gratifies some ultra loobie
looker persona.

I *do* know who it is.  It's right there in the logs on my own computer.
But if I reveal it and post the log and the IP and all that stuff, then I'm
just like these "outer" people.  Honestly, I do want to tell but I'm kind of
afraid of this person.
I'm done, no more on this.  Please don't bring it up anymore.

Not sure what a loobie looker is, but I get your drift, and you're
right. There's always a few who grow old, but never grow up, are 50-60
years old, and still trying to "drop nickels."

Umm, what's an outer?

People who are divulging other people's personal info, i.e. name, adrs,
phone, vitals to the newsgroup.  They are "outing" them,

A nasty bidness...

Hello, Kandace.. It is your beloved enemy... Benjamin Franchester
Getiner, III.  I think we first met at that Klan rally up in Center
Hill in '76. Wasn't that the one? You knew it was me by my bloodshot
eye. You know, the good eye. The other was lost during a particularly
brutal lyn... Well, that's a long one (a war-wound story. Don't wanna
implica..... I mean.. bore anybody). Anyway, it's good to 'see' you
here all the time. I know I can always count on you for really running
away from exactly what it is and where it's at, and like all the time
(which is nothing new that I didn't already knew about you). Maybe we
can dance the Virginia reel again under another burning cross. Once
more ... for old time's sake. Just you and me, way down here under a
Southern moon, deep in heart of Dixie where I shall always reside. You
might even enjoy it this time. As long as you can stand swallowing the
tobacco juice when we pass the wad..
I heard you gave it up. That true?
