Hi guys - I saw there was a kind of recent post about kitty acne.  Cali
apparently has it - I noticed it a couple weeks ago and since it
flakes off, I thought I could do that and it would *magically* go away
(duh).  I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow but what's weird is that
the outside corners of her mouth also have a little black hard stuff that
also looks like the chin stuff around them and appear to be
inflamed!  The black on her previously
white chin is about the size of a penny now!  I stopped using plastic bowls
for their dry food but just recently.  Also have to take the
kittens, Maci and Loui for more shots.  They are SO cute!  They're I guess
about 14 and 16 weeks - all lanky and legs.  I'm so
glad I got two of them because they sure keep each other occupied.  Randi
had an URI about a month ago the vet assumed was
from the kittens cuz they had the runny eyes, etc. when I got them.  Poor
Cali.  And yes, she still licks my hair at night but
not as regularly! lol   Maybe that's what caused her black chin!?  Just
kidding.  I'll keep you posted.  Carol

How did it go at the vet's with Cali?

I overslept today so I'm taking them tomorrow.  BUT although I made the joke
about her licking my hair causing
it, I guess it's possible she could be allergic, etc. to the products I have
in my hair!!!
I'll tell the vet about it.  I'll let you know tomorrow.  Carol

Thanks, I'll look forward to the update.  And I'm very interested if your
vet thinks its hair products causing it.  One of my cats loves to snuggle in
my hair most of the time, but if I change shampoos he gives me this WTF look
and saunters off with his tail held high.
