i have a female tabby that does it all the time but only to a select
few.she never has licked my husband. she licks me , my daughters ,and has
only licked my son once. she must be partial to other females. she also
sits near my bed and waits for any sign im awake then she will walk all
over me , my pillow,and the bed . she will lick my arms and  knead at mt
arm pit where she settles in to go back to sleep with me. pretty much every
day.
