We have three cats all have nicknames picked up over the years.

Roxy also known as "Moose"  She was overweight for a long time
but has slimmed down considerably with feeding her different cat
food.  Now nicknamed "moosh moosh" a variation on "moose".

Thunder - A tiger cat also known as "golden boy" or "thunsy"

Kenshin - long haired Maine coon cat. also known as "Big boy"
and he is big.

I love this topic.

My cat Buddha, who began as a tiny black and white
tuxedo cat named Boo by her former owner, had many
nicknames. She came to us about double the weight she
should have been, hence Buddha, after the Hindu God
that has been immortalized in American cheap statuettes,
but who is not in fact Buddha at all. (It's the fat laughing
guy, with the big belly, hence the term "Buddha belly.)

She comes any time she hears the "ooo," just on the off
chance that she might get fed. She is very spunky and has
an iron clad sense of entitlement. (When you shoo her,
say, out of the kitchen so she will not have hot cooking
oil spilled on her, she looks back over her shoulder on
the way out and hisses at you.)

My favorite nickname for her is the Latin-inspired
Boodicus Moodicus Baddicus Catticus Fatticus
Girlicus. :)

Kami's full name is Kamikaze, but she gets variations depending on what
she's up to.

KaMEOW when she's being... Siamese
Kamiflage when I can't find her
Kameeze when we're goofy
Kazee when I can't get her attention
Kamisole when when she looking sweet and pretty

We have lots of names and she responds to most of them.

but dumb blonde)

I sing, but she leaves the room.  This, a cat who must be within 10
feet at all times LEAVES the room if I sing.

Otis has several nicknames, not all repeatable here but including:

Lord Otis of Battersea (used to live near Dogs home, threatened to drop
him off there if he didn't stop being such an upper class twit)

Otis Henge (as in Stonehenge) - not sure why, possibly after hippy
catnip experience

Nobollox (obvious!)

Meep's usually called TravelCat online, due to the long miles she's put
in with us (this place is her 3rd overseas move).

I've been known to call her Strat if she's really bad.  Short for the
famous violin...

If you don't quite get it, I also had a horse, who when she was bad, I
called her Alpo <g>

Other than that.  Boring stuff.  "my little shadow" usually, as she's
black, and follows me around the house.  She's also been called my
familiar, but we won't go there :)

I was JUST thinking about this the other day - how weird....
I have four furbabies -
Spike - a grey tabby who is large, so he is the "Big Spikey Boy" ,  I don't
know why or how this one got started - but I sing "Spike-a-roni" to the tune
of Rice-a-Roni....
Baby - a teeeeeny calico - she is called the "Itty Bitty Kitty".
Damien - Called "Boo" - and I have to explain, cause it didn't start out
cause Boo is
a term of endearment.  About an inch or so at the end of Damien's tail (oh,
he is an
orange tabby) his tail is crooked - and I don't mean a little lopsided - it
literally goes straight across - it is cute, cause he'll wag just the little
nub of his tail.... Anyway, I started calling him "Boo Boo Kitty" cause of
the tail - that evolved to Boo.
Almoni - another tiny cat, not quite as small as Baby, but tiny - she is a
tortoise shell tabby (I have never seen a cat like her - she really is
beautiful and interesting looking) - anyway - she is VERY destructive and
curious - so she is called "Monster", and since she will play with the
deposits that belong in the litter box, she is a "Itty Bitty Shitty Kitty" -
LOL

Now, if any of them are being bad - Monster LOVES to push things off tables,
and will do it in front of me, if I let her - take any of the nic's and
lower the octave and
spread the name out - like "Ssssssppppppppppiiiiiiikkkkkkkkeeeeeee! Leave
Baby
alone!"

: )

I think these silly conversations are the language of love that
we speak to our kitties. :)
