Munchkin is about three years old, female, and a bit odd, but she has
never piddled anywhere other than the litter box before. For some
reason, she has taken to piddling in our dog's bed. Could the fact that
some outside cats also sleep in this bed (but don't piddle in it) make
Munchkin see it as a good place to piddle ?

Yep. She is marking. I take it this is a new thing? The other cats sleeping
in the bed?

Took Munchkin to the vet on Saturday, and had her nails trimmed (she's
polydactyl), and we're awaiting the results of a urine test. I used to
study for urine tests ;-)

We have been (with great difficulty) giving Munchkin amoxicillin
(liquid that tastes like bubble gum) for close to a week now, but she
is still piddling where she is not supposed to.
