I may have snuck you guys past the sign in page but its pretty
painless if it won't let you take the test without signing in. Plus if
you look at the bottom of the page and click on "tests" you will find
hundreds of these psychological tests that are pretty amusing to take.

My cat came out to be a super hero at nite.....lol.....

Mine is a serious soul, but this is just a front for some cat food company.

Sadly, there's no way I'm registering with the pop-up king of web orgs,
Tickle.  But I'd have to say Kami may be something between Lauren
Bacall and Bette Davis

Brandy haven't you found an effective pop up blocker or a program like
adaware for unwanted cookies and spyware? I didn't have one popup and
I played around on that site for quite awhile........sorry if caused
you any problems......

Somehow those two names you mentioned do seem to fit a cats
personality pretty often.

Silly boy.

I bet you are logged in right now as administrator too! lol
You are ain't ya! This is fatal.

In the control panel Create a new user, give that user limited
priveledges.
Log out, then back in as that limited user. Never surf as the admin
>From then on, you will NEVER have another piece of adware installed.

I never use adaware, or any such kiddie programs.

Because nothing ever makes it to the registry.

I watched Tech TV in its heyday plus some informational newsletters so
your try at trying to make it look like you are the only person on
earth knows not to log in as administrator......matter of fact I would
bet the majority of people here know that so I'm sorry you don't get
that pat on the back you are so desparately looking for.

Matter of fact oh pale one I think it would be a good guess that you
just learned that and are strutting your feathers rather humorously as
a matter of fact.

By the way genious why take the long way when it is much faster to get
there through help and support on your start menu. "Its the tiny
oblong box with the colorful logo and the letters "Start" on it which
by the way I can show you how to put a picture of your mug in their
instead of the start with the logo but I am guessing if the word start
was gone you would sit their staring blankly at the screen not knowing
what to do.......so we better skip the techy stuff with
you......lol.....

I am guessing that you are probably infested with spyware please stop
opening yourself up to cheap shots......I will type this very slow you
can follow me.....adaware is a program SPYWARE is the bad guy you
emphasized with a'"NEVER" have more adware installed (I think you may
be looking for infected here genious not installed) And I am sorry but
the fact that YOU don't use adaware doesn't mean allot to me when it
is the largest completely free spyware program. I use a couple of
layers of protection and feel quite secure thanks.

As much as it pains me I suppose I should say thank you for actually
trying to be helpful. It was nice of you and I have to admit I
expected you to volunteer to send me something very helpful which
accidentally infects my computer with some ten year old virus.

Seriously thank you for trying to be helpful but get out of the dark
ages, the hackers are getting smarter at an alarming rate and anyone
using a Microsoft product for all around protection should rethink
their plan. Microsoft is still plugging holes at a rapid pace and
there seems to be no end to the number of holes in XP, take that for
my well meaning advice.

I don't pretend to be a wizard at the computer but I suggest you find
someone else to duel with about computing.

After all I was trying to help someone who I wasn't sure knew about
spyware and pop up blockers and lets face it you were trying to make
me look like a dunce buy you know that hat fits you much better maybe
you could take a picture for us.

Your friend

In spite of you bitter drip! and that's what it is

YOU are the one who encouraged the STRIPPER woman
to use ADAWARE

BRAD! Your a damn liar! If you was logged on as limited user
You wouldn't be using ADAWARE

Tell it to someone else

Don't worry, Brad, the dunce is always the one who launches personal
attacks and plays the "porn" card (or in this case "stripper" which I
never have been).  There is a difference between spyware and popups,
and my issue was with popups given that I have a trainable program
rather than one that suppresses all popups, wreaking havoc with some of
the web site I visit where popups are common as part of the experience
there.  You were much more helpful though off the mark.  I also use
Sygate Personal Firewall and nothing get changed without it asking me
if it's okay.

I actually have a wonderful popup proggy, but you have to train it.
I've found the general blockers cause me more trouble than they're
worth because many sites I buy from "popup" product descriptions you
want to look at, my online radio is considered a popup, etc.

For those interested, the prog is call POW! and you can get it from at
http://www.analogx.com.  Install it and stick it in your startup group.
When you get a popup, you click on the tray icon and select the window
from a list and double-click it.  You'll never hear from it again.

LOL!  I guess you're right.  I might also say 7-of-9 from Star Trek
Voyager, because she's pretty and knows it, and won't consider anything
that isn't logical (to her).

Brandy, why put yourself through the Drama.

Checkout my fullproof method in Reply to Brad in this thread.

The method I explain is what corporate America uses.
It is far superior to a proggy, not to mention, it takes less pc
resource.
Less time.

Good Luck

You know I used Pow for quite awhile shortly after they came out, I
think they had another program I used too. You are right it is a
wonderful blocker once you have it loaded which isn't really that hard
to do. I did like the idea of it never blocking something that I
didn't want blocked.

I think I made the switch to googles blocker when they came out with
their toolbar which included it. I think its the best of the rest but
as I said POW is the best, I will admit and warn the other reason I
switched was that something happened to POW and I didn't have it
backed up. I had over a thousand pop ups in thier when I lost it. I"m
not really good at backing things up but I don't have allot of things
worthy of backing up except my  mail which is why I went to Googles
web based email program too so I never have to worry about backing up
because its always out there.

I should get serious about backups though as I am paying most of my
bills online now but again all the info is stored at the website so
losing it is not much of a concern especially if you use a program
like RoboForm which is my all time favorite program. Its the very
first thing I install on a new computer or if I have to reprogram
windows for some reason. It creates and stores passwords and logins up
to level nine which I think is 50 characters which most websites cant
handle anyway.

Wow Brandy sorry for the book I didn't mean to babble on quite so
much. But Pow brought me back to a better place, to a world of warm
summer days and soft breezes and butterflies flitting around and the
first Robin of the year with the sounds of.........blah blah blah
blah........lol.....

LOL!  I used MaxMem a couple of computers ago when my system wouldn't
release resources.  Another truly wonderful program that worked like a
dream and used so little resource itself.  Lessons I wish M$ could
learn.

Well, Kira was named after thge Star Trek Deep Space Nine character,
who was strong, stubborn, and full of attitude. Seems to fit her well.
Recently, a new show started called "The Closer". The starring
character is named Brenda, but play by Kyra Sedgewick. My Kira is a
lot like her too :)
