-L. - 07 Jul 2005 01:13 GMT All of the multiple posts of Conan's eyes - showing "Dan" and now incredibly, his wife "Nancy" (!!! amazing!!!) got me looking at photographs on the web. And to my amazement, I think I found one with Mary's face on it! If you look real close you can see it....kind of, sort of, in the middle....there....

Think about it, how do you feel about the mind of a person who tortures a cat? Do you wonder, "how do they even think up such horrible things to do"? Well, just ask Lyn. She not only dreamed up the lie of me burning the cat I've loved and cared for for 15 year, but she dreamed up a *METHOD* how I supposedly did it - with a curling iron! *UGH* What a sick, warped person! Please somebody - create a moderated newsgroup *FOR* her so she'll take her sick self into her own sick little world and leave us alone!
I feel *SO* sorry for her son, Jonathan - he has to live with that sicko of a mom. Hey Lynn, do you make him call you "Mommy Dearest"?

Guess you don't really like the "free-for-all" all that much, now, do you? You're just reaping what you have sown, Tapey. You and your "victim" friend have had this coming to you a long, long time.

> Hugs, > > CatNipped Look. I like you. I do. I can see you have a ton of great qualities. But dragging personal emails to a newsgroup is the height of rude netiquette. You're a Usenet newbie so I will cut you some slack. Do yourself a favor - spend some time on the 'net researching Usenet netiquette. Study the posting habits of people you admire in the ngs. Learn from them. At this point your posting habits are getting annoying and disruptive - at best. Even though you may not want to, take a step back and rethink what Megan wrote to you. There is a lot of wisdom there.

What Megan had wrote to you (which I was referencing) was this (same thread):
***paste***
You were wrong and you lied, and your repeated "God is an iron" response or lack of anything of substance in the rest of your message is sad yet hilarious in it's bluster and merits no response. Whine whine whine. Poor Lori. No personal responsibility for her.
WRT to more examples of attention seeking behaviors, we could go on about the numerous minute by minute posts about Bandit (and what happened to her was really tragic and sad) *but* when you post a zillion 1000 photos of every angle of every hair follicle and minute, moment by moment details of every time the poor cat even took a piss or faced in a different direction (note the sarcasm if you haven't figured it out), you spent days and days milking that tragedy for all it was worth because YOU got attention, and that's an insult to your poor kitty who didn't deserve to be used or exploited that way. Or your deciding to post a zillion emails from "Holly" so you could be perceived as some angel of mercy helping out a cancer victim even though the evidence of her lies and deceit was staring you right in the face. Or your whining about getting criticized, your repeated use of the exact same exaggerated sentence about hearing a message that had the F-word in it (my god how did you survive such a horrendous insult to your sensibilities- let's give you a medal for biggest martyr of all time) and the list goes on and on. You admire the fact that I tell it like it is, except for when the subject is you. Too bad.

I killfiled you after the Megan fiasco. *Then* you aligned yourself with Mary because so many of us told you you were annoying.

Honestly, I thought the behavior would stop. It didn't. It still hasn't. And for the record, I don't hate you, I merely think you are pathetic.
...and then of course there's the matter of playing the "victim" when Megan called you. You totally brought that whole fiasco on yourself, and then tried to vilify Megan. f.cking GROW UP. How many people wil tell you that before you start to accept responsibility for your cations?
>or you're being hypocrites now in > denying the real reason you hate me! Go read the thread, Torchie. It's there in black and white.
> Your duplicity is transparent and, as > more than a few posters here have noted, you're losing it! LOL I don't give a sh.t if you align yourself with Tapeworm. In fact, I think you two are a perfect pair. You deserve each other.

Lynnie. Poor, aggressively stupid little Lynnie. :)
Let me help you.
My mother is dead. She died years ago from brain cancer that appeared and killed her inside of a month.
Now then, your clue of the night: I know she died. I know she had cancer. I'm way over it. She's way over it, as she is dead. I don't think you can get more over it than that.
As I mentioned in this group, she had throid cancer, and beat it in no time, lived for a good 30 years after that, then died of brain cancer very quickly at a fairly ripe old age. Everybody dies of something.
Now then. Am I supposed to be horrified by your comments? Try again, darling. Let's see how fast those claws can Google while you have your one good eye pressed against the monitor. She didn't suffer. It was not horrible. It was quick and merciful.
You should have such a death. But of course you won't. You have some very nice things in store for you, because what goes around, really does come around.
Anything else? Wanna talk about your Daddy the drunk upon whom you blame all your many failures? Hmmm?

Do you wonder, "how do they [quoted text clipped - 9 lines] > I hope she's doing well now. Pretty sick of this Lyn person to say > you burned your cat with a curling iron! Yes, that was Bandit. My vet took the recommendation of an animal surgeon and started using rice-filled heating "bags" for cats under anesthesia. They were heated in the microwave before use and because of that the temperature could not be regulated. Bandit went in for a routine dental cleaning and she, and one other cat at about the same time at that clinic, were badly burned (and the same thing was documented on the 'net regarding the rice-filled heating bags).
Afterwards, my vet immediately threw them all out and notified the AVA, and every organization she is a member of and all publications to which she subscribed - but that was too late to prevent my 15-year-old cat from suffering horribly. She provided all of Bandit's care free of charge, of course, and she felt really terrible about it - she called every day, morning and evening, to find out how Bandit was doing. It was really bad - I had to take off work for 2 weeks so I could care for her 24/7 (I had to debride the wounds and apply Silvadine every 4 hours). She ended up having to have *THREE* surgeries at two different times - her back, belly, and side were so badly burned that the skin and tissue underneath were turning necrotic. Thank God she is *very* healthy for an elderly cat - she had to undergo anesthesia three times in three weeks, but came through fine. Here's pictures of her now, doing fine: http://www.possibleplaces.com/CatNipped/Bandit15/ The only signs of her injury are shorter hair at the site of each surgery, and a couple of white streaks where the hair grew back in.
And you're correct, Lyn is one sick person!

There are two choices:
1. Everyone can come in and be all civilized and bore each other to tears with little stories about checking their mail today, or what they saw on their drive home.
or
2. There can be some life here, defending a wrong we feel was commited, and whether or not it is done in your manner and style doesn't really matter much, you're not obligated to read the posts.
People have been helped, if you'll note when a poster needs help people get serious.
All we are asking is to know whether Conan is in a cage or not. a simple question that keeps getting dogged. Until then Conan will be a live issue and will bring out many feelings which not everyone will like. That happens in every aspect of life. It's too easy for people to hide and not be accountable, this group has an emotional interest in Conan and simply wants answers.

Okay, sunshine. :) Let's break this down. What is so disturbing about the posts I send to the mommy group? Lynnie's comments, of course.
And why on earth would she object to her husband and son being named when she provided the information (and photos) herself, to the whole world, online?
If your good buddy Lynnie is ashamed of the things she says, that is her problem.

Lyn used to be quite friendly to me until I agreed with her arch nemesis in the indoor/outdoor debate... first I started to get "warnings" about my "new best friend" then, when I still refused to be mean to someone who had done absolutely nothing to me, she and a couple of others turned their venom on me as well as Mary. Well, when you have enemies like that, it makes you quite proud!

I have never been an advocate for either purely indoor or purely outdoor cats. I totally believe it is situation dependant, although most cats are better situated as indoor-only. It is not an issue I argue. You have me confused with someone else.

>Well, when you have enemies like that, it makes you > quite proud! No jackass. I killfiled your stupid incessant self-serving babbling after you made a gradiose display of being "stalked" when Megan called your cell phone. It was f.cking ridiculous. You gave her your number and then whined and acted like a complete a.s when she used it. You're about as stupid as one person can be. I also started realizing at the same time how many off-topic self-serving "look at me" posts you were making (this was around the same time as your yoga streaming video). It was annoying as hell and still is. I hate to have to explain it to you *yet again*, but you're a bore. Nobody gives a sh.t about your insipid life. So get over yourself. Get some psychiatric help, or something. You have a desperate need for attention like a little kid who was never loved as a child. You're about as f.cking annoying as one woman can be. In fact, you make all women look like bumbling, insecure pieces of sh.t. You are so desperate for attention youwill do anything to get it.
So, NOW do you get it? Now that I have explained it 500,000 f.cking times?
If not, just shut the f.ck up. I don't want to hear anymore of your nails-on-chalkboard whining.

Not sure what you mean by flyby attack, if there is an English version or spelling of this , let me know in case of communications problems such as earlier with the curb/kerb thing. perhaps I need to get an English/American dictionary:)
Catnipped said " and a couple of others " so I guess that throws this part of the thread open to other people to comment on. Perhaps you should re read the original thread. Recalling events that I experienced with Lori and explaining to her why she gets negative responses is not an attack. Alison

Trish - 08 Jul 2005 19:18 GMT > There were so many threads about Conan , I don't remember what your > thoughts on him were. Did you get flamed? I don't remember being flamed, but my thoughts are pretty much the sameas some others, he needs a home and its taking too long to get him one. I'm sure he is being taken care of in the boarding kennel he's in but its not the same as having a human companion with you when you sleep or rest your day away. I dislike kennels no matter what their purpose, and to hold a cat there until a "perfect" home is found is unfair to any cat. I'm glad he is out of the animal shelter but the amount of time its taking to find hook him up with an owner who will love him and give him scratches etc on demand (not when scheduled) bothers me. And so far there has been no valid explanation of what they are looking for in a home for him. We know what they are not looking for.
> >> And life is stressful enough > > so yes I have fun with the crazies of the world who open every door [quoted text clipped - 3 lines] > Well I wouldn't have described Mary and Catnipped as The Crazies but > that's a neat description. I have fun with them too. Actually, I think Mary is cool, she has a good heart and is willing to put actions behind her words. Unfortunately there are some who feel the need to tear down these actions to get a personal stab in at her. I've not been here for the past arguments and discussions, and I don't google to see who said what when, but over the past year I've seen very good qualities in her. We all have good and bad about us, it's what makes us unique. And she has a good sense of humour, I like that. I've butted heads with her in the past over something that I can't remember and I've felt her "wrath" but I stood my ground and moved from there.
Catnipped, I don't know her very well, but I don't like that she is being accused of burning her cat, I remember that ordeal as she was going through it and felt that she handled the vet and rice bag thing quite well. I'm sure she feels good about how she stood up for herself during that time, and felt even better after Bandit was healed (and so she should feel good). As for her yoga videos and such, well good for her, she's proud of what she does, sadly, I don't think enough people take the time to speak well of themselves when they acheive their goals or desires.
> > I'd probably be hurt by your comment if I cared enough but alas it > ain't so.>>> > > You'd have to bit over sensitive to be hurt by a comment like that :) You are correct I can be oversensitive at times, hey I'm part irish and part french with a few other nationalities tossed in there, being oversensitive is a birthrite :)
> >> lol Toronto>>. > > Looks nice there:) It's a beautiful city, it has a little bit of everything, I've been here 5 years now and there is always something new to do or explore. Not that I feel the need to defend anything that I've done, Trish, but just to clarify... The yoga video was posted in another group where we talk about a *LOT* of off-topic subjects and where others there have stated that they have been doing yoga for years. I posted the video to get advice about what I was doing wrong and several people gave me some very helpful tips. In fact 99% of the things C & L are talking about were posted in the other group and most were in context with the conversations going on - and *none* were objected to by others who post similar things. As far as being vain, or "full of myself" - well, most of the things I post are me making fun of myself (i.e. losing weight at 53 has made me resemble a Sherpe puppy, I have to move my boobs before I can buckle my belt, and similar things). I've *NEVER* taken myself seriously and don't intend to start now (which is why it's so funny to see them trying to flame me with the very things I've posted about myself1 ;>).
Really C & L are using those things because I'm sure they're too embarrassed to admit to the real reason they started flaming me - but anyone who can google (although most don't bother, like they do) can see exactly what happened.
As far as Alison is concerned - I stopped taking her seriously when she tried to convince people that a cat stepping in its own urine in a litter box was more dangerous to its health than being hit by a car - which is why I don't even bother to answer her.

Oh, no worries, I knew they were from another group, I lurk in there and have followed much of the conversation. I like the videos, I've been thinking of picking up yoga also. And thanks to you and that group, I've finally taken my bike in for its annual fix up and have started biking again. Even found some off road trails (my absolute favourite). It's a killer on my laundry but I'm having fun. By the way, Bandit is a cutie! Have you tried off road biking? It's challenging but wow you feel great after a good ride.

I swear I'm becoming addicted to endorphins... when it rains with lightning (simple rain doesn't keep me off the bike) I climb the walls!
I'd love to try off-road biking, but I'm afraid to - I lose control and run into mailboxes when I hit a crack in the pavement! ;>

Doesn't look as immaculate now as it did when this was taken last October when I bought it. Nothing worse than a clean mountain bike.

Nothing worse than a clean mountain bike. *NICE* ride! I just have what I call a "granny bike" - no gears, no hand brakes (I think in an emergency I would kill myself trying to back pedal to brake instead of remembering those new-fangled hand brakes!). Actually somebody told me it's called a "Strand Cruiser".
I'm up to 20 miles per day now (it takes me about 1 hour 45 minutes).

But think about trying it someday, when you're ready for a new bike you really should try a mountain bike, the braking comes easy.

Organic as well as inorganic stuff. So far this season, 1 broken rib, sprained elbow, sprained foot, cuts, scrapes, bruises.....
When I started mtb'ing in the 80's, all you did was ride. Now, if you don't take at least 3 foot drops and incorporate some freeride elements into your xc riding, you ain't sh.t!
