The first photo is the photo Monica Towle posted today, entitled "Conan
Rescued."

The second is a photo of Dan with Harri the Roadcat earlier this year.

Look carefully at the door panels of the vehicle in the two photos. They are
the same--on the same vehicle--Dan
Mahoney's vehicle.

Hmmm... It could be the same vehicle, but I don't think you've got
enough pixels to say for sure.

However, my judgement on this has swung the other way.  If Dan were
not involved, Monica or one of her fellow stooges would be quick to
tell us how wrong we are.  I pretty much take Dan's involvement as a
given at this point.

Assuming Dan's van is a Toyota Sienna, a Dodge Caravan, or any other MASS
PRODUCED mini van. Those vans are immensely popular.  Think about it.

As for "...her fellow stooges..."  *if* these people had the Payton Place
thought processes like you all, then you should expect them to behave like
you.  But ... they don't.

of your kids, or husband (and no Lyn that was not meant for you)...

And, if you do, you might want to avoid aggravating people. :)

Notice in the pictures Monica posted
http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=7817257&uid=3785866

They are very cropped! None of the pictures are the same size...

AND...One of these pictures does not belong in the group.

It's two different cameras, (you can tell by the clarity)

"Conan Playing with his mouse", was not taken in the same place, or
with the same camera as "Conan Relaxing".

The floor is even different, one floor has LVT, the other does not.

It's possible it was taken in the kennel section of his luxurious resort and
not the overly spacious playroom.

I don't think they are the same vehicle - here's why:

1. Based on Dan saying in the past that the semi truck he drives is red,
and that the color of the vehicle in the second photo is red as seen in
the side view mirror this photo was probably taken in his semi truck.
Plus the window design in the second photo is consistent with a truck
like a semi instead of a passenger vehicle.

2. The vehicle in the first photo is a passenger vehicle. It is too low
to the ground to be the same vehicle in the second photo. The color of
the vehicle in the first photo is probably white or light colored based
on the color of the interior door riser on the left side of the photo.

So based on these observations the vehicles in both the photos are most
likely not the same.

I don't know but from what I have read of Dan's posts in the last few
weeks, isn't he currently not driving his semi?  I know he and his wife
were in an accident in his personal truck and then he had surgery and
the way I understand it, he is not driving the semi right now (unless
I'm incorrect).  I'm also fairly certain that he did not own his semi
but worked for a company as a driver.  Therefore, would he even have
said semi in his possession right now?  I assume the photo of Harri is
taken in his semi as that is where she was the Roadcat.

It also seems as though recently he mentioned that the only vehicle
they currently have is his wife's car since it was his personal truck
that was totaled in their accident.  He said something about how they
would have to continue having only that car for awhile since he was
going to use the insurance money for his personal truck on Harri's vet
bills.

Just something to throw into the mix...

He posted that he was delivering a load of fireworks for his brother for
the 4th of July.

Dan told us that in email. It does not change the fact that he was at
home last Tuesday through Saturday and would not answer our
emails regarding this issue.

He is undoubtedly at home now. I want to believe the best about
Dan, but how can I when he is responsible for this cat not going
to his forever home and in fact being kept in a cage for another
solid week, where he is still.

You are correct on both observations.  The vehicles are different.

Pure conjecture on your part, as much as the other side's.

I retired from driving line haul. >I< know what a semi truck cab looks like.
The door windows on a semi are vertical and they are flat glass.  With the
exception of Rolls Royce class touring cars, automobiles and most minivans
have radiused door/window sills and glass. The window height from the ground
is *obviously* closer to the ground in the picture featuring Conan's face.

Not taking sides, just offering my opinion.  The picture with Harri
looks like a photo taken in a "rig" (semi-tractor trailer).  Look in
the rearview mirror, that's the trailer.

The picture with Conan doesn't seem high enough off the ground to be
taken in a rig.

Smokie Darling (Annie) - who has been wrong before.

Not correct.  What you see in the lower/covex mirror is the side of the
sleeper which is part of the tractor.  There is too much rain water on the
upper/flat mirror to distinguish the trailer.

Correct.  Conan is pictured sitting in a four wheeler.

Look at the angle of the camera, though. In the first one, the camera
is way up high, and in the second one it is level with the cat.

Maybe. But the fact is, Dan's very silence proves I'm right. I don't know
much but I am sure of what I do know. I don't need to argue too much
with those who disagree, as time will tell.

Silence does not prove your case, Mary.  True, you really know precious
little which makes what little you know quite incomplete.  If I had a
malicious nature like yours, I would treat you like a mushroom.

Silence does not prove that you are right. Silence proves only that Dan is
busy, is on vacation, is in the hospital, doesn't have an internet
connection right now, or doesn't want to be harassed by you any more.
Silence is never proof of conspiracy theories.

Aww. Marjorie is so cute. Like that legless, armless knight from

Actually he isn't too busy he's managing quite fine to post in the other
group, keeping all his paypal friends updated with stories of Harri.  You
know you never know when you'll need that cashcow again.  So I'm guessing
he's ignoring this group, which would be all fine if he were on the up and
up and wasn't hiding.

Please don't confuse Marjorie with the truth. It interferes with her agenda.

Facts create confusion in what passes for (and through) Mary's "mind."
Mary's agenda and emotion are the only "facts".

Oh, so now I have an agenda. I'm a bit confused. Can you remind me of what
my agenda is? I just can't recall it.

Shaking my head in amusement at the audacity of this newest claim.

Of course you do. How long have you been posting in the Unable-to-Pup group
with your best bud Lynnie aka Jonathan's Mom, the half-wit?

Now then, please do not strain yourself. When  I want input from someone
incredibly stupid I will ask Alison.
