When I doze off to sleep, THEN the cat springs onto the bed (and startles
me)  this takes a good 3 hours of sleep from me. It's a chemical thing.
If my first approach at landing is thwarted (going to sleep) it takes me a
while to get back to sleep, I usually get up.

Well, when Meep did this as a kitten, she was immediately banned from
the bedroom for the night (and any requests to be let back in were
ignored).  She's now very well trained *not* to bother us until the
alarm goes off.  Reminders only happen maybe every other year.

She's *such* a good kitty :)

That's a solid idea, I don't have much choice.

Hell hath no fury like a bigbad pulled from his first sleep; but I

Dammit.........I"m so sorry.......does that account for some of the
idiotic things you say.....??
