I like Rhonda idea, lets go out for pizza. The only problem with this, is there would need to be a pizza committie; and designated PayPal Pizza fund, oh, and quite a few air passes.

And you need a story about a pizza that the delivery driver had to bring back because the address was no good or the anchovies turned bad.

Wow, you're really digging deep now to try and reverse some of the damage you've done to yourself in this matter, eh?
Don't worry, Arthur. The pain you feel at having your butt kicked on here will subside in time. It really will. If not by careful thought, reflection and personal growth, then by the embalmer's needle.

I've wanted to go to the Outer Banks for a year or 2 now after reading some cool books set there. Can you rent us one of those cool old houses out there and we can all come out?

Can you rent us > one of those cool old houses out there and we can all come out? Sure! But it's really, really hot here now. I think I'd rather come to the left coast, where it is cooler and breezy. I say we go on up to Washington State first and hang Charlie by his armpits for a few hours, then on down to San Francisco. I have not been there for years.

Philip - 01 Jul 2005 06:22 GMT I'm sending a rescue check to spring that pizza from the killing ovens and from anyone who is more than 20 pounds overweight or has a waist size bigger than mine.

As much fun as that sounds, I think I'll pass for now. Thanks anyway! My activity is pretty much limited to laying (lying?, I never know which) on the couch and going to the doctor's. Do tell us all about it.

:) I guarantee you the most exciting thing that is going to be happening around here in the next few months is your twins.

I'd suggest sharing the pizza with Charlie's cat but I bet there are onions in the sauce.

FTR: I had a moment of introspection, I said, bigbad, do you really really give a rip if Charlie got the cat, I say no! No more than Charlie did.
Then I ask myself, well, what's buggin man!
I say to myself...
It is the fact that I even post on here, and who are these people?
People like you Wendy. What in the heck was you thinking when you said that?
I mean, is this hells waiting room or something?
Lawd! I must be missing something.

Next time, read a bit before you spout off, and you might find yourself apologizing less. Harness your manic side, son, learn to use it to speed-read through the volumes and save face, making less of an a.s out of yourself.
