I love the one of Kady grrooming Koko!  All of the pictures are great, but

I just saw this and had time to look through your photos--wow, all your
kitties are pretty but Kady steals my heart. I have a soft spot for tabbies!
I love the one that marks her album--where she has her chin and belly turned
up, and she is asleep! Gorgeous girl.

Laurie, what was her story? I remember when you named her but cannot recall
how you got her.

Laurie, what was her story? I remember when you named her but cannot
recall
how you got her.

Gabby and hubbie were out walking , and heard a MEW , she was laying in
the gutter on the street, and followed them home.  We went to the ER vet
early Memorial day morning ( 1 am) ... then to the reg vet on
tuesday..... they said she wouldnt have survived till tuesday if we
hadn't rescued her.  Her temp was only 96° and she weighed just a
pound...... she was prob about 7- 8 weeks old at that time.

She is now almost 4 lbs.... and her and Koko have kitty speedway races
and kitty olympics several times every night.....Rich wanted to keep
her, because it seems  she could very well be related to our other
rescued stray, tigger.  Gabby brought him home a couple years ago too.
Tigger was murdered while at a 'kennel'  in Poughkeepsie, NY , Memorial
day weekend of '04. Don't EVER  kennel an animal at Affordable Boarding
and Grooming - they are far better at losing or murdering pets than they
are caring for them.  Animal Control of Poughkeepsie called me here in
Florida 3 weeks after we were home..and it was not the first time that
there have been problems with that kennel.  Long story short, they lie,
and steal, and ultimately murder pets.

So now, we feel like we have a piece of Tigger in Kady. Plus, she has
helped us tremendously with Shadow's passing.... hopefully, we are
Paying it Forward....

Now I recall the good care you took of her! Your quick action taking her
to the ER vet during the holiday weekend really stood out. She was so
tiny!!

Awww! Koko is a lot bigger than Kady! By the way, we have kitty
Olympics every night here, too. There is a long hall with a slate floor
and a door at the end. It has a carpet runner but there is enough slate
to make it slippy-slidey for running cats. :) So we take the laser pointer
out and entice the kitties until they run down the hall and LEAP up to
catch the dot as it jumps up the door! The higher they reach, the more
points. We sit there in the dark and rate them. We are the judges, of
course!

I am so sorry you went through that.

Of course you are. It really works that way, too!

She is soooo adorable. What a beauty.

I loved how she and Koko have turned out to be such good friends.

I've been wondering when we'd get photo updates, those were great!
