My Traveling Kitty!! - UPDATE

Several people responded with helpful hints regarding taking my kitty
(Hobbes) in a car.  Just wanted to let everyone know that he traveled
perfectly!  Someone had suggested I use Feliway and it worked like a
charm.  Hobbes was very comfy in his cage with a sheepskin pad.

When we got to our weekend home, he adapted almost within an hour!  It
was absolutely amazing.  He was assuming his normal positions within
one day...like sitting just outside the bathroom while I got ready.

I'm SO glad I took him rather than leave him at home.  With his sister
having just passed away, I didn't want him to be alone.  He's coming
with us from now on!

Thanks again to everyone.

Feliway is great (it was me suggesting it).  When I checked into the
motel, I sprayed all the "rubbing corners" before letting her out.  She
acted like she was right at home.  A little "this doesn't look
familiar, but I must have been here because this is marked 'safe.'"

Thanks Brandy!  I appreciated your suggesting Feliway.

Sounds like you made the right decision and had a very happy cat! You
probably would have worried the whole weekend about him if he had not
come along.

Glad you've got a new traveling buddy...
