I have to let Lucky go...

I got Lucky last summer... she was deserted on my back porch at 2 days
old. I took care of her and raised her, but I'm in a situation where I
need to let her go. I'm signed up in the Army and I ship off in August.
My family loves her as much as I do, but they're all terribly allergic
to most animals and that will prevent them from taking good care of her
and filling all of her needs. I have been frantically searching for a
family to take her in, and it's tough.

During my searches, I found this website
http://www.operationnoblefoster.org/ that specializes in fostering cats
for members of the military. I was wondering if anyone here has had any
experience with them or knows how well they do their job.

Also, if anyone here knows of any excelent fostering programs or really
of anything that will help me out, that would be great. If anyone here
interested interested in taking care of Lucky for me, send me an e-mail
and I can tell you more about her. (xanera@gmail.com)

I don't know about the place you mention but is it possible to have a friend
take her for the time being since it's impossible for your family to.  If
you make arrangements to have her bills taken care of and provide for her
expenses you may be able to find someone a bit easier.  I would also check
with your local vet or shelter and ask if they know of anyone who may help
you out.
