Her lab work is back and although she was slightly dehydrated, they didn't
find anything wrong with her kidneys (her creatinin and BUN were perfect).
She did have a low white cell blood count so the vet thinks it is either a
viral infection or, more likely, an early bacterial infection. She's going
to put her on antibiotics and cyproheptadine to stimulate her appetite
(since she is so tiny and is eating so little, additional weight loss is a
real concern - they're also going to show me how to syringe feed her on a
"demo" cat ;> when I go to pick up the medicine).
