Dan, I can't get an email through to you. Nothing has changed with Conan,
but I need to be able to email you if it does, if you are still willing to
help us in case of an emergency.

I hope Harri is feeling much better, poor girl.

Dan usually hangs out in rpca - and I think Harri being seriously ill is
taking up his attention just now.  Have you emailed Joy to see if she is
still willing to help?

Yes, I meant to post this there--and did once I realized my mistake.
I have already donated to Harri's fund.

You must have missed the post where Joy says that Orange
Co. is not near LA. Or something like that. Phil said he lived
in LA--and got Conan from the Orange Co., shelter so there
were likely some inaccurate assumptions happening.

Dan has already agreed to help should Conan be in any danger,
so I think he's our man. He emailed me saying he would be happy
to help, but I am having trouble getting an email through to him.
Thanks, Cn!

Yep, I missed that one.  OK, (puts on Church Lady mask) never mind!

For ease of reference, Orange County is immediately southeast of Los Angeles
County.  The OC Shelter is about one half mile west of the Interstate 5/
Highway 57 / Route 22 interchange, next to the Santa Ana River bed, in the
City of Orange.  (The City of Orange is in Orange County).

I sure am. If you can't get e-mail through to dan at wolf dot com, then
try dan at catfolks dot net. The wolf.com account has an overly
enthusiastic anti-SPAM system in place, and filters out legitimate
e-mail more often than I care for. But the catfolks.net account should
be pretty accessable. And I think I sent you my cell phone number in a
previous e-mail, so don't hesitate to call if you need to.

And it sounds like Harri is getting better. The vet drained the liquid
out of her chest and she's breathing easily now. He suspects she might
have gotten into rat poison, so he's treating her for that now. If she
did, it had to have happened on one of our leash walks.

Yes, Dan, thanks! I will. We are safe until June 29th, if Katharine was
telling the truth--that is when Conan is up for re-evaluation.

Oh Dan, I have  followed your Harri stories and looked at all
your photos of her sleeping in your arms, etc., and I know what
a dear creature she is. Here's hoping for a full recovery. I will email
and/or call with as much notice as possible if I need you to pick up
Conan. Thanks so much for even thinking about this during this
scary time with Harri.
