It's essentially a mild case of "radiation poisoning." Have you ever
had sun poisoning? It is the same thing from a different source. I
love to swim in the ocean (really swim in it) and I have gotten
sun poisoning so bad that my eyes swelled shut and I was sick
to my stomach. Very unpleasant. Anyway, as you know, since the
iodine goes right to your thyroid tissue (if any is left) the radiation
will do good work on any bad cells that are left.
Glands in the neck are
