Im here! Im here! Didn't see this til just now. Got released from the
isolation at the hospital this morning as planned. Yeah! Now I am at
moms, getting the royal treatment. DH is on his way to pay me a visit.
The only thing I am missing terribly is of course, my furkids.

The treatment was not terrible. Swallow 3 capsules and that is about it.
I felt okay all day yesterday but woke up very nauseous today. Been
battling the nausea, but it is manageable. Glands in the neck are
swollen...but that is to be expected. That is where the radioactive
stuff should be doing its magic.

Thanks for caring! :)

I imagine you do. But you'll be home soon.

It's essentially a mild case of "radiation poisoning." Have you ever
had sun poisoning? It is the same thing from a different source. I
love to swim in the ocean (really swim in it) and I have gotten
sun poisoning so bad that my eyes swelled shut and I was sick
to my stomach. Very unpleasant. Anyway, as you know, since the
iodine goes right to your thyroid tissue (if any is left) the radiation
will do good work on any bad cells that are left.

You bet. You're almost through it. Hang in there. If you
find you glow in the dark, shoot me a pic. :)
