On mine, I did detect an odor. I think it was because I put it in a
hallway....sort of closed quarters.

I don't know....what does a pheromone smell like? It's not a pleasant odor
but it isn't terrible either....I only smell the first week or so when the
diffuser is new.

I detect a faint smell, like an iron, when I first put in a new one, but
that fades.
