My cats love the bathroom and get all over the bathtub, toilet and
sink.  Lately I have seen what appears to be blood spatters where
they've been roaming.  I only  notice it in the bathroom.  I've checked
them all over (paws, anus) for signs of bleeding but can't find
anything.  Has anyone seen similar?  Is it something else that only
LOOKS like blood?

If they are very tiny, they could be what is called "flea poop".  I
would recommend a vet check just to make sure everything is okay, and
they can also see if your cats are having a flea problem.

Yep--it was fleas.   I was surprised because I checked and checked them
for fleas and never found any.  Back on the Advantage.  First time
since they were kittens 6 years ago.

Thanks for the update. Fleas can be hard to spot.
Glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious.

could be flea dirt (which is flea poo, which is blood), when wet..yule
see blood. Only notice it in the bathroom, where floors get a little
wet from showering and steam?

Hi, My cat had the same problem, turned out he had crystals - which is
a urine tract infection. Just spots of blood. He also loved to play in
the bathroom tub. He felt comfort some how in there. Cats with Urine
infections try to go where they're comfortable, he would try to pee in
the tub drain. No pee would come out but little spots of blood.

Bring your cat to the vet asap just incase. Urine tract problems are
common and deadly!!
