Kelly:   I just got off the phone with the shelter DVM on duty.  He looked
up Conan's history.  The FVRCP was administered on May 23 ... his induction
date. They are working through stock of HESKA brand vaccine and Conan DID
get that brand. Next, on his adoption date of June 1, he was given the
required rabies shot.  DVM also said many animals do present symptoms within
a day to a week after the FVRCP ... many asymtomatic. That Conan is having a
reaction or just got infected upon arrival with "kennel cough" is
unknowable. There is an incubation period which might just have coincided
with the adoption. At any rate, the expected duration once symptoms become
evident can be 2 -15 days!   What the Hell!  :^(   Another "delightful"
revelation was ALL cats carry a herpes virus.

Well, with an "end in sight" in terms of duration...will you at least
give it that amount of time for Conan? Maybe a little longer cuz he is
so damn cool? >;)
