My late cat Emily, who had lymphoma, was on prednisolone alone, no
chemo. It bought her some extra quality time (a few months) and it can
be helpful in reducing inflammation and promoting a general sense of
well-being but, I agree, it is primarily palliative. It is also often
given in conjunction with chemo.

Not that not having the treatment for Neil (my cat) is ever going to be
a choice I'd take but I was wondering how much chemo treatment costs
(roughly).
Our other cat, Kevin, already taked heart tablets and that costs £55
every 3 months, so its all getting a bit expensive now....

My Mario is on the oral chemo drug Leukeran. He gets it M,W&F. It costs
about $95 for 40 pills.

Not that not having the treatment for Neil (my cat) is ever going to be
a choice I'd take but I was wondering how much chemo treatment costs
(roughly).
Our other cat, Kevin, already taked heart tablets and that costs £55
