Hodge is in one of his affectionate, underfoot moods. Which means I've
accidentally stepped on his feet a few times today. Now he's giving me
that, "I want to be close to you but you're going to step on me, aren't
you?" look. Sigh.

See what I mean about people watching me?, I have the identical thing
going on. Truth is, it takes alot of patience from me for him to do
this.
He lays in my studio, where I can hardly shift my weight.

90% of my work I do standing up; and there he lays. What are we going
to do?

I've been lucky so far and only got the nip of his tail, with my house
shoes...I don't think I was on it, just the side of my shoe a little..
One time, I got ready to take a major step, and decided to look down,
good think I did.

I think Im going to make him a little bed on a platform, or a shelf,
insist that he lay there, and not under foot. He gets mad if I try to
move him.
If I move him, he won't be my friend for about and hour. (till he gets
hungry again). haha

Not step on their little feet, I guess. He runs under mine. Weird
beastie.

The trickiest part is in the mornings, he sets the pace all the way to
the kitchen. Sure, he's going to eat, but I'm looking for coffee. You
can't get around him either, he'll cut you off. So I just take it as a
gift from God, and say, this is building character in me; it is.

Which is why I go around saying "move. moove, mooove!"  MLB
