Because she's such a tenacious troll, I thought Mary deserved some
research on my part while I'm waiting for my project to compile.

Mary has posted around 1,590 posts since January 1st, 2005.

I've been through around 590 posts (with my extremely clever program
to cull Google newsgroup results) and the results currently stand as
follows:

Chatty comments on the OP: 583
Opinions on how to care for cats: 7

I'll refine my search to go back a few years when I have some time,
but it's pretty clear that Mary isn't a cat expert, or even
knowledgeable about cats, or even able to have an opinion about cat
health + behavior, but instead is merely a garden-variety troll.

Not that this will come as a surprise to anyone here, but I thought
I'd share the metrics I've gathered.

The nice thing is that my troll-algorithm might be commercially
useful. Thanks to Mary for providing a nice test-bed for trying it
out. However, I don't plan on cutting her in on sales.

I would say that I am living in Brian's head, but you know,
I would never live somewhere that nasty.

Must be very difficult living in your own head, then. It would
explain why you have multiple personalities.

Oh, look, it's my little fangrrl Alison! Here's a clue for
you, my dull little tightass: some people have deeper and broader inner
dimensions than others. A greater range of
thought and emotion. Independent thinkers tend to be this way. People with
courage and operating minds. People so unlike you I feel quite sure you
would have no point of reference.

Of course I am merely average. Which still looks damned
accomplished and diverse when compared with you. HTH. :)

Now now. Just because "average" is impossible for
you to achieve does not mean that it is unattainable for everyone. Kind of
like wit is, for you.

It's not unattainable for everyone; only you.  I'm not saying you're
dumb but your school grades spelt out  IDIOT though judging by your
school photo you showed an application to Art.

You just don't see the irony of this post, do you?  Oh well, you're
certainly not the only irony-impaired person here judging by the number of
off-topic posts about off-topic posts!  ;>

Exactly, BLink likes it when Mary flames him, he shows up and throws the
first lick
in order to get his fix.

Hey Mikey he likes it!

It's just my opinion, but I think he is enjoying it too much...(ha haaa!)

and it's quite transparent, why he's not even trying to conceal it...(snort)
ooops--

I think Mary ought to start charging him -

setup a somethingaboutmary.com where he can pay per fix.

Usually I only post OT in reply to OT. This was just too rich too pass
up.

The beer was the only thing that was obviously too rich to pass up.

Don't get me wrong - I don't have any problem with posting off-topic posts
and letting the reader decide whether or not to read them.  I just think
it's ironic to post off-topic posts *complaining* about off-topic posts.
But, again, you're certainly not the first person to do so here, and it's
entirely my choice whether or not to read your off-topic posts about
off-topic posts (which I've obviously chosen to do), so post away!  ;>

Damn! Step away for a few months and Mary goes and gets herself a dozen
new antagonists. I almost feel guilty.

Now, Carl. Even people who hate me are not going to think you are a good guy
for declawing three perfect kittens (and spaying at the SAME TIME) to save
your
Newly Upholstered Walls.
svendlho@aol.com - 26 May 2005 20:04 GMT
Not sure where you see me inferring myself to be a good guy in there.
Also not sure where the subject of claws was mentioned ANYwhere in this
post.

Good to be back though.

lol

Just as you did not get your wish when you announced that you had declawed
those babies but you did not want to hear anything negative about it, you do
not get to dictate what associations anyone makes with your posts.

I will always connect your posting name with the cruel jackass who knew
exactly what declawing is, and chose to do it to three beautiful kittens,
admitting it was because you could not be bothered to train them not to
scratch your "upholstered walls." But that is just me.

Others will remember you for doing that and then months
later coming in and announcing that your wife has breast
cancer, and accusing me (in advance of my saying a word) of saying that was
some sort of retribution for declawing the cats. You are one sick f.ck,
Carl.
svendlho@aol.com - 26 May 2005 20:36 GMT
Hmmmm.

Your imagination is quite vivid today. And your ability to completely
ignore context continues to impress. And my lack of interest in what
anyone here (and many other places) think of me so low a priority to me
to be almost totally non-exsistant. I won't deny being a sick f.ck, but
not for any of the reasons you infer. And I think I'm going to retire
from this thread as I don't want our little diatribe to take away
bandwith or time from other posters.

Nor do I want them to see your obvious crush on me. (And I still won't
go to the prom with you.)

Bye Mary, as always, it's been a thin slice of heaven!

Meanwhile, every thing I said is true. You did those things, you
said those things, and it is all archived. You should have been
worrying about "bandwidth" then.
