I said I would post an update.
He is worse. He still couldn't keep any food down. Won't even look at
it. Everybody took turns holding him for hours. He just lays there and
purrs some of the time. He looks really depressed. He has given up.
I'm not going to make him suffer any more. He needs to rest. I'm taking
him in the morning.
Thank you to everybody. I appreciate all your help. I knew this day
would come. I just hoped I could put it off longer.

Oh Meghan, I am so sorry. Purrs that your little guy crosses over
painlessly. I know he knows that you love him.

I am so very sorry. I know how hard it is. I know all our furbabies will
greet him at The Bridge.
Hugs, Carol :(

Thank you for recognizing the signs of impending death and minimizing his
suffering. You are a good parent to cats. Take care.

Oh Meghan, I'm so sorry. I know how much you love him and what
a wonderful cat he is. Thank God he has you, and that you are strong
and wise enough to give him the last great gift--mercy when he is dying,
and release from his pain. I'm in tears for both of you.
