My kitty has this stuffed raccoon which is about half her size. She
loves it! The weird thing is, and I wonder if anyone knows more about
this, when she brings it into the room, she makes this unusual meow
sound. She only makes the unusual meow sound when she has the raccoon.
It's so cute! I feel like she's bringing me a gift.

She may be regarding it as prey she's bringing you to eat, or maybe as
her kitten she's bringing. I'm never sure which it is with my cats when
they do this, so I praise them and thank them and don't get too specific
about the nature of the wonderful thing they've done. ;-)

She is! It is pretend pray, and she is paying you the highest
honor by "feeding' you and showing off her hunting prowess.
My cat does this with a rubber snake. Praise her and watch
her face, you'll see.

**Yes, my sweet 7 month old boy, Dove, has a little solid white baby bunny
toy that's about now* a 1/4 of his size. He's had it here since he* was a
baby close to the same size. He's always loved to 'play' with it, and carry
it around with him. Although he's pretty non-vocal with it, before I got him
neutered, almost one month ago, he would play with it preeetty darn rough,
just like an active boy would, I reasoned. Now he's much more gentle acting
since he's been neutered, and not as tough and aggressive with it.
