He has been neutered and vetted and is back in the pet porter,
recovering from the anesthetic.  Tomorrow evening I will release him
just before dark.  I will show him where I plan to leave the food out.

Of course, this means the pregnant kitty had her litter, probably out
in the woods somewhere.  A whole new generation of ferals in the
neighborhood...

I forgot to get the cat's ear notched, but I think I will recognize
him at this point.

I'm glad this saga is drawing to a close, and I'm sure the cat is too.
I hope he has a long and enjoyable life and shows up now and then for
a meal.

He is a lynx hybrid.

lol Charlie! And you knew it all the time.

Congrats Charlie, on a job well done!  Now the fun will soon begin,
especially if Momma Kat finds the food you put out for BC.  I would
imagine she has missed the food you used to put out and will be very
glad to find it there again.  They kittens would be fairly easy to trap
once Momma Kat strats to bring them for a good feed.  You might be
looking for a good "drop trap" yet!

I'd be trying to locate a feral cat organization near you to assist
with this next phase.  And good luck to you!  You may have found a new
past-time!

Bless you for all you've done for BC and for what you'll no doubt end
up doing in the near future.

I'm sure that if you put out food, new mama will be showing kits
where the food is when they get old enough.  If you're not up for
the task, I hope someone else there is.  Good on ya for getting
this male neutered. It was a stressful ordeal for both of you.

Good job, Charlie. I know this has been hard on you, but think
of all the cats that will not suffer since you paid to have this big
boy neutered. You're a good soul.
