My cat has a little dark brown bump where his eyelid is. It's not near the
tearduct and doesn't cause any pain. It's very hard to see, as it's
practically buried in his fur.
Has anyone ever heard of this before?

I wonder if one of his eyebrow whisker follicles has gotten blocked. Not an
emergency but I'd sure have a vet check it to make sure it is the beginning
of something serious. Bumps of any kind always have the potential to be BAD
THINGS.

You should have the vet look at it. It may be nothing more than a tiny
mole. My dog had one of these on the edge of eyelid that had to be removed
and later in life developed one on the eyebrow neither of them were
cancerous but it's better to have it checked than to find out later it was.
