Just a query to everyone regarding how widely this is available in your
country. Here, the distributors will only distribute it through vets. What's
the situation in your country - can you get it in pet shops?

I order mine online.

Feliway (both the plug-in diffuser and spray version) is readily available
in the U.S. and does not require a prescription.  I order it over the
Internet.

Yes. I order it online, but the pet chain stores sell it in both the
spray and diffuser. One store I shop in keeps it locked up and you
have to ask for it!  Not sure whats up with that, but maybe because
it's expensive?

People shoplift it. One day I went to pick up a box at Petco and it was
empty! Someone had stolen the refill bottle out of the box. I had to take it
up to the counter and show them. Oddly enough, Venus shaver refills are also
kept behind the counters at grocery stores for the same reason!

It's available at Rite-Aid and I had no problem stealing it.

half inch square and the plastic container is 14x8 inches so its hard

Wear a fat suit with a hollowed-out plastic belly.   If you're already
fat, maybe you should consider armed robbery.  Either way, the hard
part starts at home -- getting the damn thing out of the package
without breaking it.

I've ordered mine online as the pet stores are so expensive.  Here are a few
places I've used to order from:
www.valleyvet.com;
www.petguys.com;
www.vetmeddirect.com

Hope this helps.

I order mine online. I use Biovets but I'm sure there are other
companies that are just as good. the price online is much, much lower
than buying it from the vet.

I get it at my local Petco. It's widely available in the US, I think,
although I can't believe how few people actually know about it and use it.

Yeah, I thought it was widely available in the US, but thanks all for
confirming it. What about other countries? Europe? Australia? Canada? South
Africa? Anywhere?

Here in Canada I haven't found Feliway in the pet supply store where I shop.
The sales person didn't even know what it is. Haven't check other stores
yet.

I saw it in a store in downtown Toronto, just south of Honest Ed's.  I think
it's called Annex Pet Shop.

http://www.valleyvet.com carries Feliway and last I knew does ship
internationally depending on customs restrictions. I once was in contact
with someone in Japan that was looking for a specific product and I was
able to arrange for it to be shipped there through Valley Vet.

Cheers. But I'm not looking to find out how to get it. I just want to know
how widely available through non-vet outlets it is in other countries.

I think it is pretty widely available. I think the name of the company is
Farnam and they have multiple country sites on their website.

Now that was useful information. Found their website. Thanks

Yes, but if it is only available through vets where you live, it may
also be exhorbitantly priced. I know of a vet that charges $36 for a
bottle vs. $15 online. It's worthwhile to post such info so people in
countries where it is not available in stores know that there may be a
less expensive alternative for getting this product, and one that
doesn't require having to go to a vets office.
