Ana appears to be recovering nicely from her ordeal.  Her appetite is back
big-time, and today she's been up and moving around.  She's very lovey and
purry.  I still have her in the bathroom, as my house has a lot of steps and
I don't want her playing too hard with the other cats.  We have a recheck
with the vet tomorrow.  If she says things look good, I'll start letting her
out.
The hardest part for me is getting up and down from the bathroom floor, not
an easy task!

Oh, man, that is great! I'm so glad she is feeling better.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner- I've been going straight since
Sunday.

She took a little longer to get back to normal because of the shunt- she
can't clear meds very fast because most of her blood is by-passing her
liver.

I happy she's recovering well-- I could sure use some good news.

Hi, thanks Phil.  She's doing great!  This morning she made a break out of
the bathroom three times, so I figured I'd let her out since I'm home and
can supervise.  Now I'm dealing with Bartleby acting like she's a stranger
and growling.
The Buprenex had instructions to give 3 times a day, but I only did twice a
day since it made her so woozy.

So glad to hear that Kelly, I know how worried you were!
