Fever?

What is the normal temp of a kitten?  The little fellow I just found feels
very warm to me.  He's not coughing or wheezing and his eyes look pretty
clear.  If there is a fever, what do you think is the most likely cause.
He'll be going to the vet as soon as I get a recommendation form the rescue
group I called, but he's not in any emergency situation right now.

According to a google search, it ranges between 100.4°F and 102.5°F.
