I have three great cats.  I love them to death.  I give them lots of
attention both as a group and individually.

But at night, Storm will not stop crying.  He goes back and forth from
yowling to batting me in the head.  I stick to a very strict feeding
schedule and try very hard not to reward the behavior.  My own
schedule is very regular.  I don't know what to do.

I could lock him in another room all night, but I feel like that would
be mean.  I play with them as much as I can during the day to keep
them from sleeping and to wear them out.  I just don't know what else
to do.

Any suggestions?  Please tell me if you have had similar issues and
what has worked.  Or if you have any suggestions.  He is an indoor cat
and so putting him outdoors isn't an option.

Thanks soooooo much!

How old is he? Is this a new behaviour? Are there other cats in the house?

You're in bed or in a reclining chair when this head batting occurs?  Try
changing your shampoo!  I had a Siamese that would do this same antic
anytime I bathed/shampooed with Dr. Bronners Peppermint soap.  Finally cured
her of the habit by bathing her in the stuff a few times. The novelty wore
off. She hated water anyway.  LOL  Sure made for squeaky clean puss.

Now that is funny!  Thanks for the laugh.  MLB

Have you tried adjusting his feeding schedule till later in the day.  Are
you sure he is getting enough food to be full?  Are you sure it's food he
wants that it's not something medical.

Did I miss something?  I didn't read  that he was neutered.  If he hasn't
been, that might explain his behavior.

Of course I don't look busy,
I did it right the first time.
